We, the undersigned Patriots, affirm our alliance and our shared determination to preserve, protect, and renew Europe as a community of free, sovereign, and self-confident nations.
We regard the scale of illegal migration and the organized abuse of the right to asylum as the greatest threat to the security, internal peace, and the established identity of our peoples. Uncontrolled immigration does not lead to enrichment, but to parallel societies, rising crime, and the loss of citizens’ trust in their own state. We oppose this with all the means available under the rule of law. We support a complete overhaul of the asylum system until effective control over Europe’s external borders has been restored and the abuse of asylum systems has been brought to an end. This is the only credible way to restore order, security, and public confidence.
We draw a clear distinction between people who respect our laws, our way of life, and our values, and a political ideology that is incompatible with them. We resolutely oppose political Islam, Islamism, and all movements and doctrines that seek to subordinate our democratic legal order to religious rules. We do not tolerate parallel legal systems or any religiously motivated order placed above the applicable law of our states. We reject the application of Sharia law anywhere in Europe. The laws enacted by our sovereign nations must always take precedence over any religious doctrine or parallel legal order. The equality of men and women, freedom of speech and religion, and the equality of all before the law are non-negotiable for us and take precedence over any attempt to undermine them in the name of an ideology.
Anyone who wishes to live permanently among us must abide by our legal system, our values, and our cultural foundations. We reject multiculturalism as a state-imposed doctrine. Integration is the duty of those who come to us — not an obligation for the native population to adapt. Those who have no right to remain or who commit serious crimes must leave our countries.
The protection of our borders, sovereignty over immigration and citizenship, and the security of our citizens are the responsibility of the nations and their elected parliaments — not of an alienated bureaucracy in Brussels. We are committed to preserving Europe’s centuries-old culture and the diversity of its peoples, languages, and ways of life.
We, the Patriots, stand united for a Europe of freedom, security, and sovereign nations. We reaffirm our goal of strengthening our successful alliance both internally and externally — in the service of our homelands and their citizens.
