Without Fear : Masters in our own Home ! Our meeting in Milan (April 18)
European patriots held a large public rally on April 18, in front of several thousand people in Milan’s Piazza del Duomo. Built stone by stone from the 14th to the 20th century, the cathedral is a testament to European ingenuity and will stand for centuries to come… if we take care to preserve our identity. This is precisely the message that the leaders and representatives of our member parties came to deliver.
Among them was Geert Wilders, who reminded the crowd that “our civilization is the greatest achievement in human history – the fruit of centuries of struggle and sacrifice by our European ancestors. It is here that the ideals of democracy and human rights were imagined, defended and realized.”
Martin Helme, chairman of EKRE, pointed out that, unlike the globalist forces, we are on the right side of history: “And then there are us, normals. Right-wingers, nationalists, conservatives, Christians. Patriots, who want their countries to be the way they have always been. Italy must stay Italian France must stay French, Hungary Hungarian, and Estonia Estonian. That is the norm !”
“In the midst of all this darkness in Europe, there is the light of the patriots! True leaders who never betrayed their values! We are here together today!”, continued Afroditi Latinopoulou, president of Foni Logikis, in a speech that thrilled the crowd.
According to Udo Landbauer, Deputy Governor of Lower Austria and a member of Freiheitliche Partei Österreichs, “our homeland, our traditions, our families, our democracy, our freedom, and our security – none of this is negotiable. Not yesterday. Not today. And not tomorrow either. We patriots will never sacrifice our countries on the altar of the European Union.”
That is also the message Tom Van Grieken, president of Vlaams Belang, wanted to convey : “Our people don’t want to be replaced. Our people don’t want to be erased. Our people don’t want to be silenced, in the countries their forefathers fought for! Not yesterday! Not today! Never!”
Our Europe is built on cooperation. And between France and Italy, according to Jordan Bardella, president of the Rassemblement National, “there is more than just a border; there is a shared history, there is a civilization we share, and there are two peoples who love and understand one another.”
Nearly two years after the victory in the European elections, for Matteo Salvini, president of the Lega, who closed the rally, « the alliance of Patriots is the only true adversary of the Brussels bureaucrats. Within this alliance lies the only hope of protecting our workers, our youth, and our identity. My support to the farmers fighting against absurd regulations.”
We know this: saving Europe will depend on courageous and determined men and women. They were on stage last Saturday, watched by thousands more in Piazza del Duomo, and millions across Europe. We are on the right side of history. So let’s dare to say it: « Senza Paura. Padroni a Casa Nostra ! »
